Hi
Do the latest versions of Transitions VI wear out? Do they become yellow over time?
Which are clearer indoors? Transitions VI or Vantage?
Which revert to clear more quickly? Transitions VI or Vantage?
thanks

Hello. Transitions 6 is a pretty good product. The Rx will be out of date long before it starts to discolour, although the exact length of time this takes is dependent on which index it is made in. I'd estimate between 3-5 years. If you're after lenses that clear the fastest, I recommend Photofusion from Zeiss. In my opinion, it's the best photochromic technology... the only downside being that it doesn't go quite as dark (but that's ok since you'd have polarized sunglasses for dedicated use anyway). I would say it clears about 50% faster than Trans. 6. Vantage is not easily available in the UK as it hasn't been officially launched here but my understanding is it's very slow to fade.
Rep quoted me somewhere around 7 minutes to clear for Vantage.
