Glasses for toddlers from one year old???

Hello,


Does anyone have experience with this???Did you get a second opinion or trust your eye doctor right away???


Our daughter was diagnosed with a +8 diopter today, I think that's quite a lot, glasses were prescribed at +6, we now have to have regular check-ups and go to vision school from April, well in a way I don't have to be surprised, for me I was the same when I was 1 year old, I also needed glasses, but I can't remember how many diopters, do you know if this is sometimes hereditary???


I was pretty upset today when I found out about it but well it's no use, it's better to treat it now before you can't do anything else.


So I had to get that off my chest, maybe someone can say something about it.
