Hi Everyone I am a relatively new member of the optical world and I have a question that I hope you could help me out with.
If I had an rx that looked like this: OD -0.25 -0.25 x 180
OS -0.25 - 0.25 x 090 ADD 2.25, ADD 1.50 OU for intermediate.
.....and the patient only wanted a SV intermediate pair, I am assuming it is as simple as adding the 1.50 to the spheres which would make the rx as follows: OD +1.25 -0.25 x 180
OS +1.25 -0.25 x 090
I am probably overthinking this haha :)
Furthermore, if a patient only wanted intermediate and reading, how would I go about that?
I'm passionate about the optical field and have an A.S. degree in opticianry. I was wondering if any experienced opticians had any advice/tips/tricks for me as I am just starting my career.
Thank you!
