As an owner of a website you have to subscribe to the service, You also have to place tags on your website, so they can scan it. It just subscribed and placed tags on some of my most important pages and the thing has been scanning already for 10 minutes.

Why is Steve letting 3-11 year olds on this site? I would doubt even the smartest 10-11 year old would sign up to ask a question.

Unless they count people like an optician I know here in town. She is 38 years old and claims 26 years experience in optics. Her mom worked for an OD when she was growing up, and she went to work with her mom from time to time. Funny thing is the doc she worked for has never had a dispensary.

As has been said: Where did these demographics come from? If we are aware that the stats on Optiboarders are appearently pulled out of thin air, should we pay any attention to these people's demographics on other sites and areas?

I don't see how they can determine any of those demographics. Even I have no way of knowing that info. It's clearly not something that comes from OptiBoard itself.

You can do that?! Woah. My mom's been an Optician longer than I've been alive, one of my first toys I remember playing with was the Marchon Thing... I dunno if that's what it's called, the red furry ball thingie. Does that count as experiance? :D
