Providing that our great and wonderful OptiBoard owner and founder approves, who would be interested in ordering official OptiBoard shirts?

Judy Canty and I have found some from between $14.99 and $19.95 a piece for the shirts depending on how many we order and what style; prices for the embroidery vary. I will give you a final cost when I finish shopping around.

Maria, the style over here is to wear them larger than you need..at least I'm told that by my daughter....So when in ROME,...etc. etc.

I am thinking the url should be on the shirt somewhere. What do you guys and Steve think about using the new board logo? I am trying to find out if the chart in the background is something do-able.

One of the companies I am looking into will let you go and enter your own size online. They have men's, women's and unisex available. All of this is going to depend on the response we get. If enough folks want them, the shirts get less expensive and we can afford to get some different styles.

Jo, are you thinking of making the 'logo' size about 2 inches across, or big enough to see from 20 feet? I sorta like the smaller designs over the pocket area.

I'll certainly get 1 or 2 or 3 regardless of the final design. Gotta support our 'godfather' out in public.


PS - I think the OptiBoard logo looks swell - in the newest default color.

We are working on coming up with a logo that will work with the embroidery process. Once we have that we can get actual prices from people. So far, the logo will be similar to the one at the top of your pages.

We have only had 16 people respond to this poll. With that amount of public interest we may have to pay a little bit more for the shirts. Instead of the $14.99 pricing we are looking something like $18.99; we would need 50 or more shirts in order to get the lower pricing.

I'll pay the $20.00 for a shirt. You would think though, that with over 800 registered users of this site, we could get 10% to buy in.

Hoping for the best, but want a shirt anyway!!

I hope we get more participation from our registered members!!! I now want four. I am willing to pay $25.00 per polo. I told my brother (an OD) to also buy one, but cheapo said he will think about it. I will just get him one anyway. Thanks for the quick reply.

I'd like two (what colours are the shirts available in?). Coincidentally, one of my employees runs a side business making just this kind of item. If you need another quote, she did some nice shirts for our office that were very reasonably priced.

According to her, the somewhat expensive part is getting the logo processed into "stitches." After that's done, not only could she do shirts- but anything else people might want to send (I'm thinking a tie with optiboard.com up the side or something...).

Anyway, let me know when they're available! I hope you do put the url address somewhere on the shirt (like maybe on the fringe of one of the sleeves?).
