Hello,
I would attach it here, however, my office stuff is not here (I'm at home), and, if I add your request to 'my to do list'...it will be too long...
If you wouldn't mind, please email me at my office:
lpierce@hccfl.edu
and I will gladly respond with the attachment.
Happy Reading,
: )

I also have a copy of the Report in Adobe reader format. Email me if anyone needs it,

Question: Is Dr. Sheedy's report part of the public domain and has he given permission for people to share it? If not, then please don't.

OptiBoard has been proudly serving the Eyecare Community since 1995.
Dr. sheedy's report was originally published by an Optometric magazine then distributed to all Lens manufactures to distribute or quote and reproduce in any format they like, so I hope that means it is "public domain".

Hi Steve,
Yes, Dr. Sheedy's report was published in the American Journal of Optometry, and, sent to lens manufacturers.
Thanks for asking...very classy and copy-right. (spelling intentional)

Not to be contrary but that fact that is was published does not make it public domain. In fact there may have been stipulations regarding it's further distribution and publication. Probably not, but we have to be careful with copyrighted works.
I've written Jim pointing out this thread to him so he can comment.

Kind of a stupid question but what is this report? Optiboard is the first place I have seen it mentioned. I feel like I should know what it is but I don't.
You can probably get in touch with James E. Sheedy, OD, PhD here:
editor@opticaldispensing.com
as he is the editor of the Optical Dispensing News.
Hello Again,
I also emailed Dr. Sheedy to be sure that it was OK, and to apologize if it was not.
He said it is OK, and directed me to a link where it is online (via the Optometry department at University of Ohio Optometry school).
While I'm not sure if I should post the link here, (have not asked him), I will be happy to email the report to people who want it.

Laurie,
I never got an answer to my email to Jim. Can you ask him if it's okay to post this report in the OptiBoard File Directory. If so, could someone send it to me?
