    They have had several DNS attacks on his server. Not an uncommon occurrence these days with people trying to hack or disrupt websites they disagree with or have some other agenda.

    There are rules. Knowing those are easy. There are exceptions to the rules. Knowing those are easy. Knowing when to use them is slightly less easy. There are exceptions to the exceptions. Knowing those is a little more tricky, and know when to use those is even more so. Our industry is FULL of all of the above.

    OB ranks as No 1 Forum od all purely optical forum, ahead of the Russian one which is the number 2 (but I cant read it)

    Nobody would ever pull the plug on OB as there are too many newbie OBers in the backlane that jump in when a long time or short time member falls of the wagon.

    EOH got closed because there was some big pressure from all sides to go that way.
