We can nominate people for the following categories and then post a poll for the ultimate winner. Anyone game?

Is someone keeping track? I think as soon as we have 5 nominees in a category then further nominations cease for that category. Once all nominations are set, we can then have the official OptiBoard Oscars poll.

LOVE Mr. Bean. I am probably the only person that bought the tape of his movie Mr. Bean. He cracks me up! It amazes me how with just actions and his facial expressions he can be so funny!

I have a feeling that- if Marlena were not the tolerant soul that she is- OptiBoard would have ceased to exist long ago!
I can't even fathom the conversations...

"Well honey, I'm going to pretty much devote all my time to running an optical forum on the internet from now on."
"Oh? That sounds interesting. How much does it pay?"
"Well, (and this is the really interesting part)- absolutely nothing! And to top it all off, it will require my constant attention and will at times frustrate me to the point of incredulity!"
"Well in that case, I don't see how we could do anything but go for it!"

Its hard enough to be passionate enough about something to spend the kind of time and expend the amount of effort Steve has invested into OptiBoard. I would imagine its probably even harder to be the spouse of that person (because you don't completely share the passion, but you have to put up with the sacrifices all the same)!

I appreciate the sentiment everyone, but I have a question. Isn't the Lifetime Achivement Award usually given to people who have their best days behind them and no longer get the good roles?
