    OptiBoard Meeting at Vision Expo!

    I am pleased to announce that there will be an OptiBoarders meeting at Vision Expo East on Saturday, March 16th at 1:00pm. The folks at Live Eyewear have kindly allowed us to use their booth (#3955) for this meeting and will provide beverages.

    Please let us know if you will be able to attend this meeting. Also we'll be taking pictures, so wear your OptiBoard shirt if you have one. You can still order them online here:

    Actually, the "shirt lady" is a former employee of mine here in town. I will be happy to have her make a few to sell up at Expo, but I'll need to find folks to buy them!

    What is a color that everyone likes? I'll have her make 5 or 6 "Expo Specials" that have "Vision Expo '02" stitched under the logo. Unless you guys want to suggest a different color, I'll just have her do the logo in red and black on large white shirts.

    Sound like a plan?

    I too will be there. Not sure about what you consider for size for the shirts, but whatever fits an 'average' male at 150 pounds, I'll take one...

    I will also have a booth at the convention. Booth 3669, next to the Safilo spot: N.A.I.T. (the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) Come for a visit!!

    Can't believe I'm finally going to be able to attach faces to the names.I'm really looking forward to it!

    Pete, do you suppose it would be overkill or order another Lilac shirt XL with HoHo as the new nickname.Once the youngest grandson leared to talk thats how hojo came out.I like HoHo better!

    I wish I could be there, so post lots of pictures. My daughter, Beth, who turned 21 yesterday and left for spring break in FL this morning, is appearing in a play at school on that weekend. While I love you guys to death, I haven't missed one of her productions since she was in 7th grade. Have some fun for me...good single malt and a great cigar will do nicely...
