    Darris

He was last spotted chasing a rattlesnake in heat, somewhere north of Amarillo, but it came from an unreliable source

    Hi kids,

I'm still around just not around here much anymore. As Jacqui said I spend most of my on-line forum time on Laramy-K, but don't have much time for it these days. In fact it was Jacqui who sent me a PM on Laramy to let me know that Mr. Nelson had asked of my whereabouts so I thought it was only right that I stop by to say hello.

Yes, I did actually post (twice even, not counting this one) over here on OB recently. First time in I don't know how long and I don't plan on staying around for long.

    Well harry,

I was actually seen North of Bronte killing rattlesnakes in the heat, not North of Amarillo chasing a rattlesnake in heat. I believe I would be a very reliable source for this information so rest assured the story is true (my version of it anyway) Pete will be down my way I'm sure sometime for a bit of Dove hunting he just doesn't know it yet. Since he is now a Texan he can get a license and come on down at his leisure.

Thank you all for thinking of me. Take care, don't be a stranger and come visit us on Laramy-K sometime. We'll leave a cold beer and a light on for you.

    Hello to all,

    Harry,

Classwork goes well. I am in process of getting the rest of my class squedule for the remainder of courses necessary to finish pre-med. I am waiting to hear from the counselors to find out what clep tests are available and when they will be offered so I can get my classes scheduled accordingly.

    Dave,

JR was never shot, he was in an alcohol induced coma caused by Laennec's cirrhosis which created complications with his PT, PTT and Albumin levels. The increased ammonia due to the disease process is what lead to the coma since ammonia crosses the blood/brain barrier, which can cause stupor, coma and death if not treated rapidly with lactulose. The bullet in his body was just a henderance but the lead in the bullet actually helped the condition because of the cytolytic properties of heavy metals in the body destroying the natural flora of the bodies system that produce ammonia. :D

    Steve,

I are fine and you? I will let Chad know you said hello. I hope all is well with you and yours.

Take care everyone. Nice to hear from you all.

    Darris C.

    Yes, Darris . . . However

On his last AC1 it was discovered that he was 8.5. This, I am sure, is due to his propensity for sweet things! Or as they say, here in Seabrook, TX . . . .
    Them Thayer Sweet Little Thayngs!
At that rate his life would have been excessivly short, anyway, but with one helluvah smile on his face!
