Is it the primadonna pad?

Why do manufacturers have to be different crazy nosepads?
This^!!
A while back I tried the Safilo 2.0 stuff. While I REALLY liked the frames I ended up getting away from them just because of the nose-pads. Same with some of the Carrera line. If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT! Seriously, I had a few people bring back the Carreras with a missing nose pad and you have to beg borrow and steal to get a replacement? No thanks... don't carry those frames anymore.

If you are referring to flat metal frames False front meaning the eyewire is mounted behind the front I have simple solution. Most edgers allow you to alter shapes after you trace them just reduce the A dimension by 2/10 and increase the B by 2/10. It will be easy to mount the lens and it will be tight in the eyewire. Make sure the c size stays the same you might have to change the B more or less to keep the c size.
Oh, I don’t struggle to mount lenses in false fronts anymore but back when I first started on an old AIT edger it was a pain! I just would like to see a frame designer have to work on some of the problematic frames we see these days and maybe they’d start making designs that make sense for the people that have to work on them.

most people don’t know that the word optician is not a contraction of optical and technician but optical and magician. I was told that by a frame designer. Just kidding it really comes from magician as when people looked thru lenses in the Middle Ages the believed it was black magic.

Are you still looking for them?
Centrostyle make them - Catalogue number : 00495 http://customerarea.centrostyle.com/...se%20pads.html
I have some instore here but I am based pretty much in middle of Australia, postage would take a LONG time to arrive from here - basically Australia has almost zero flights in and out at the moment
Whenever someone orders a frame with a different pad design (like Ovvu) I always order a few extra pairs as standard practice because they inevitably fail and too often tje style is phased out- but I'll take down that 3 or more year old box of parts and save the day and added grief.
The all soft silicone, like the old round Airwear, are frames to avoid imo.
I ended up reaching out to Marchon and they kindly sent me 20 pairs of pads, so I am set for the foreseeable future.
