I was on hold for two and a half hours on Monday. I stepped away from the phone for a moment, someone picked up, and they hung up before I could get back to the phone.

New record for me! First an hour for the person to tell me that I need order entry even though i hit the right option. Then another 2 and a half hours until I finally got my remakes called in.
My coworker had to call three times on three consecutive days just to get an old authorization deleted. Over nine hours total time on hold. She finally called the customer line and demanded to be transferred directly.

Yep agree. But...A few weeks ago I gave them my cell phone number to call back and they called at 8 PM that night. This may be the protocol for call backs? They just end up being after hours. I never have checked the caller ID at the office. If any of you out there would take a late call I would suggest giving an evening number. Good luck! -C. Beard

Thank you! I would love it if I could use our local lab. Anyone have a list of the labs?
I guess I should ask... would it even be worth it if you are still on hold with them forever? We do not take Davis for materials, just for exams, so we loose a lot of patients. If I could use my preferred lab and not have problems calling them, our office might consider picking them up. Advise welcome!
I attached the House Bill but that was for Texas, you can check with you lab reps and they may know, that's how I found out about the legislation.

I hope that with time the call wait time will be back to normal. As far as the lab work goes I couldn't be happier especially in comparison to the the previous lab. The website isn't great either. Still pretty buggy. I am sincerely hoping that with time these things will be resolved. Then again this is Davis so their track record would suggest otherwise.
