Hello All!

Our office is attempting to move away from the traditional lab tray. We have found them to be too inflexible, to take up too much space, and to have a very limited capacity for larger frames or cases.

The plan is to move to pharmaceutical bags, thick gauge plastic bags with a hook that hangs up. The upsides are that this makes use of vertical and horizontal space much more efficiently, and can contain almost any pair of frames or cases. The potential downside I see is frames getting crushed if a row is over filled, or from staff leafing through the bags to look for a specific patients' order.

Have any of you used an alternative lab storage system? if so, what did you do, and how did it work out for you?
