Hello,

We are considering making an investment in the equipment necessary to monitor the viscosity of our hardcoating lacquers.

My question is, will this give us any valuable information that we could use to predict end of life, or help us to revive old, failing lacquers? If it only tells us that a lacquer has failed, when this is already apparent; and the only remedy is to change the said lacquer, then there would not seem to be much point.

Has anybody any experience with these sort of measurements?

Many Thanks,

Falstaff
