Anyone know of a good place to service a Topcon LM-8E lensometer in canada?? This has been an awesome machine and much preferred over all my other lensometers.The problem is the tentioner on the base is not working. I came in to work this morning to a note on the lensometer that says....careful with lensometer, will not stay in upright position. wtf?? This lensometer has been bullet proof for more than 15- 20 years. Apon closer examination a cap screw that screws onto the shaft is broken.
