Good morning and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my fellow optifolks!!!!

I would like to find out what is on the job front in Richmond Va and the surrounding area. I am a licensed Optician with 14 years of experience in this industry. I love it, not all of it, but MOST of it.

Mostly I love helping people see better, and I love working with my hands. I am skilled in Customer/ Patient Service and like helping people in general. I have done a bit of all the aspects of being an Optician, from lab work to dispensing and everything in between. Low vision fitting was most enjoyable and I especially like working with kids and seniors.

I am adept at problem solving and trouble shooting eyewear and lens issues. I have both inventory and management experience. Above all I value integrity, trust, responsibility,and perhaps most importantly, laughter. I know how to say no and I know how to guide patients to the right choices and best options for their needs, and I know how to help to fulfill their wants.
