So all that really needs to be checked is the add, is the add checked the same as any progressive.
Well... I don't "check" adds in a progressive I read the laser engravings and trusss. You either check the PRP (same area of the lens you'd look for prism) or the actual add location (account for inset of course) in a regressive office design depending on manufacturers specifications.
Check the manufacturer specifications. Otherwise, most labs now show what you should read in the DRP and NRP right on the invoice. Traditionally speaking, before freeform lens designs, you could only verify an office lens by confirming the add the power.
