    Question Favorite Optical Websites?

Please, list your favorite optical web sites. What sites do you think provide valuable resources? Include any manufacturer, lab, retail, association, etc. sites you like and what you like about them.

What kind of sites or resources would you like to see available online that currently don't exist?

    Thanks,

    -KB

P.S. Optiboard is obviously on top ;).

    Great Subject-

The site I've found to be the best resource is the NFOS (National Federation of Opticinry Schools) links page.

It provides Links to almost all of the Optical Sites.

    http://www.nfos.org/links.html

Its a good one to bookmark.

This is a great idea for a thread Keith. Thanks.

I am with HC on that one. there is virtually nothing you can't find within the optical industry on that site.

    the Transitions website helpful.

I've picked up many selling points and its a great resource for point of purchase material.

For window shopping, you can't beat Hilco-

In order to be found ...............................

In order to be found on the search engines of the web a site does not absolutely have to be cute, there are many factors involved that have to be complied with and followed religiously.

Just to have a website means nothing, to be easily found means everything.

Here are some rating results as of within the last hour.:

Here are some official ratings of TODAY for optical websites including some mentioned at the Optiboard

Google’s best rating is 10/10 which is mostly for text and content = quality. (For a commercial site 6 is usually tops)

Alexa’s best rating is 1, based mostly on traffic visiting the site = popularity
