What software programs are people using? I'm currently using Optimeyes-MBA. It's a great program but very expensive.
I've tried Easyframe from Luxottica but hated it!!!

Hello all,
I also am looking at what is currently recommended. My Company specializes in computer support for the legal and medical field. I am working with a Doctor in the California area who is using AOTVRX running on a 486 PC. I upgraded the entire office with Dell P4 systems and it now takes 10 minutes to calculate for frame type. Any hints? I have tried all the protected memory settings and XP emulation modes but issue remains the same. I plug in the 486 and away it goes....
I have looked into the Innovations software which another client is using but I would like to see what is available.
Thank you,
Michael
I have been using Eyecom2 software for 15 years, and though pricy, it's done the trick. as an independent opticianry, we only use a small part of it's capabilities, but we're pleased, check it out at www.eyecom2.com
We have started up with MedFlow and it seems to get very complete.
I believe it might related to the increased clock speed and timing errors with the associated memory. I have seen two programs that slow (cripple?) the processor down so that old business and game programs will run on units faster than 233Mhz. One is called "Moslo" and can be found at...Computer Mike said: My Company specializes in computer support for the legal and medical field. I haven't tried these yet but I will have to make some decisions soon because of similar problems with my dos version of Ezframe. You might want to image your hard drive before trying these programs. If you have any success let me know.
Thanks
Robert
