In all honesty, I picked Lieberman. He seems to be the only candidate who has NOT lost control of his senses.

Kerry is the only one on the slate that I think will give W a run.It also might have something to do with the fact that he's from MA.

Given the above choices, the only palatible person would be Lieberman.

Coincidentally, I find it amusing that the Democrats seem more concerned with who can beat George W. Bush than with finding the best candidate. Not that the Republicans don't do the same thing, its just funny.

Is that all the choices? Because I don't see anyone that I would even give a second look.

    mortaging his house

John Kerry's wife has a personal fortune of half a billion dollars (Theresa Kerry Heinz). A lot of money in condiments.

    I don't know Diane.......

I saw Sharpton on last night and I think he's still staying in! :D

Why isn't anyone asking him about his role in the Tawana Browley bruhaha?

Say what you want about the Rev Sharpton, he has a sharp wit; his comment the other night about gay marriage: "The point is not who you go to bed with at night, it's whether either of you have a job to go to in the morning".

I'd take Lieberman over any of the others.

BUT I would have to say that for comic relief you can't get better than Al Sharpton. I have to say (and don't get me wrong here) that it amazes me that Al raised so little money for his campaign and yet has still been able to sit right along side the rest of the group with no delegates and little showing in any polls. Who's funding him? Who's keeping him in the race and why?

Yes, Joseph Lieberman was the only viable candidate on the ticket, but I guess Kerry will have to do (sigh) Why couldn't Zell Miller have run and why did he have to retire? ;)

PS. Pete? Have you been getting my e-mails?

    the Reverend Al

I suppose he stays in the race for visibility for his POV (as well as himself, not above a little self promotion!) and had probably hoped he would have enough delegates to bargain at the convention re the platform. After last night that hope has to be gone...Still say as off the wall as he can be, no one better at the give and take of a debate. That's the joy of not being a serious candidate, you can say all kinds of crazy **** and no one seems to care!!!! I for one will miss him, and I will REALLY miss Dennis. Now there is a headcase, still, something so Don Quixote about him it's rather touching. My mother is a real politics junkie, everytime she mentions Dennis K's name she prefaces it with "God love him".
