hey, hey
I am here too. Here with the 5 lbs. of fudge I cooked up late last night for the festivities.

I have a cheese tray and red or white. Also Eggnog, non and alcoholic. May I fix you something and do tell me about that famulous new outfit you bought.
Alan, you'd better start speaking or the New Yorkers are taking over. Oh that's right, you were born there too.
Well, here I am on the Texas prairie......
Christmas tree lights abound and a mouthfull of sugar free Chanukah Macaroons (yuk! where's the wine!)
Wishing all good cheer and a brand new PD ruler this year we won't use to stir the coffee!
I have a nice California Meritage from Napa or a Santa Ynez Chardonney. I cannot testify to whether they are Kosher but they sure are good.
So what are everyone's plans for the rest of this festive season?
Laurie C.
You're killing me. I LOVE egg nog but, have been holding myself back this year....(like 5 lbs of fudge is better for me?!?). But, the white wine, I will have!
Actually I'm still at work. ARe you guys? THis is my late night.
Are you both from New York? You're smart that you've moved someplace sunny. It is gray here. We got nearly a foot of snow last weekend and a few more inches these past few days. It is wet, heavy, sloppy snow. Yuck.
So hard to dress up for a Christmas Party...you know with a skirt and heels...and then have to trudge through that mess.

Did you know this is our 16th anniversary. And, as I gaze upon your prettyness here in the glow of our party....you haven't aged a bit.
For all of you who will be saying high to Laurie C......she's a little on the quiet side tonight. The ol chords are pooping out from caroling, errr the flu or something. Feel better...have some eggnog...it works.
Okay pouring some nice Foley Chardoney for Hip Chic while wearing a particularly lovely silk lounge set from Lord and Taylor. I am at home but have been working from there all day. Yes I am from NY and about every other year open our place there due to work issues. Alan my darling how sweet of you to remember our anniversary. I'll never forget that first fight in the middle of PLCU

I moved in to my new home a few weeks ago. I am looking forward to preparing a nice Christmas Eve dinner for family. I love to cook. Love to experiment with new recipes. Christmas will be another gathering, probably at my Dad's house.
This Saturday, I have a Christmas party to go to at a friends house...festive attire required. It will be fun.
Then I will crash. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. Too much at once. Closing on a house and moving at this crazy time of year...what was I thinking? And all that shopping....I can't wait to get back to real life.
I don't mean to complain....I'm not really. Life is VERY good....despite the snow!

Laurie~
Where is your place in NY?

and we have moved twice during Christmas and I know that is tough. Tomorrow is our anniversary, no not Alan, Hubby and then party on Sat and Tuesday off to Seattle where we may have snow, then straight from Seattle to Plattsburgh
Oceanside, Long Island
So, what's wrong with a little Manischewitz?
It's full of antoxidents, too, ya know. Maybe it doesn't have that bouquet, and, maybeeee . . . you don't let it breath.
But, when push comes to shove . . . a DUI is a DUI!
I will call Jim and tell him to pick Manashevitz up on the way home and naturally I would never dream of a DUI, God invented taxis, limos and designated drivers for people like me, please see my post on being PC Incorrect
23 people piled out of a Christmas party and got in cabs and limos. One guy waddles out in a stupor, fumbles with the keys, gets in his car and starts to drive. Officer Muldoon stops him and tells him to get out.
He sees the guy is perfectly calm and sober, walks a stright line and all. Officer M says what's the situation with you?
He says:
"I'm the token decoy!"
Oh NO, Alan that's just plain adorable.
hic!
Make it safe,
Make it healthy,
Make it prosperous . . . .
Alan W
or am I confused on what time this virtual Optiboard party was supposed to start? I so hate to be gauche.

It is by universal misunderstanding that all agree. For if, by ill luck, people understood each other, they would never agree.
So glad you could make it. How has your day been and what can I get you to go with that beer?
Alan, shall you start some Channuka songs or shall I start Carols and we'll take turns.:p
the day just got better:p and i'll take another beer to make up for lost time:bbg:
