(TORRANCE, CA - Nov 2003) – California-based lens innovator Younger Optics has released its exciting new marketing initiatives for NuPolar® lenses in 2004.

A high quality brochure utilizing detailed technical illustrations has been developed to explain the mysteries of polarized lens technology and to reduce confusion surrounding the definition of glare.

“We feel a responsibility to the industry to avoid the single-dimension, lifestyle oriented marketing of Ophthalmic Lens products, and will be taking an educational approach with our future marketing. Polarized lenses are unique, and we must ensure that the Eye Care Professionals are well informed of their unique attributes,” said David Rips, Younger Optics President and CEO.

Also available will be a new Glare Demonstration unit, compact and produced in a high-quality buffed alloy finish. It is small enough to keep on the Dispensing Desk and does not need a power source.

“Our new Glare Demonstration unit is very complementary to our award winning black-box demonstrator. ECP’s who have limited space and do not have a power source in their Sunglass areas can now effectively demonstrate the benefits of polarized lenses to their patients,” added Rips.
