    optical historians

I'm not sure if this will interest anyone here but there is an account of mine that has very old lenses and frames and patterns(steel) that he would like to know if there is a market for. Some of the samples he sent me were the Kurova glass lens by Continential Optical, the AO Masterpiece fsv, the B&L orthogon FSV. shuron Kurova fsv,Titmus Normalsite, etc., If anyone has any interest in this type of thing, please email me and I will put you in touch with him.

These lenses have to be 40 to 50 years old.

When I first started in this crazy business AO Masterpiece and Shuron Kurova were the standard SV lenses. Rimless mountings in 14kt GOLD were still very available and metal patterns were standard for all frames. This brings back memories of making lenses by hand (fusing Kryptok bifocals together, making slab-offs, etc), the old AO rimless edgers, lots of things.

Probably didn't help answer your questions, but I don't know if there is a market for these things except museums.
