World Series!
How about a Cubs - Red Sox Final!
It would go to 7 games and just before the game 7 the players strike and the season is called off!
Just another positive Red Sox Fan!

I'm watching the Sox right now- IN BOSTON (how cool is that?)!!! Of course, they aren't in Boston right now, but this city is just too awesome. I'd like to see Boston beat the Yanks on the way to the Series.
Speaking of hopeless causes that are having a good year, how about those 4-0 Colts?

could be the year of the Colts! Pete, why didn't you tell us you were going to be in Boston? I was there yesterday too!
Communication lad, thats the key!

So Pete, you must be up really late into the wee hours o' the morn...see where the A's won in the bottom of the 12th...can't imagine what time that happened in Boston time....4am maybe?
How about 4:35!
Boston was empty this morning! I think everyone stayed up for the game and called in sick! It was quiet amazing!
I watched the whole game and traveled 1 1/2 Hours this morning and got to my first stop at 9:00 AM! 1/2 hour early!
I'm tired now!
I lived in Boston (great town!!) during the infamous Bill Buckner episode. I don't think Boston can take another one of these misadventures, perhaps they should stick to basketball, hockey and football!!!!:p
The day after that game I heard this joke!
Did you hear Bill Buckner tried to committ suicide?
He jumped out in front of a bus but it went through his leggs!!
Could it be!
better than it was a couple of days ago. This team reminds me of the "impossible dream" Red Sox of 1967. A lot of heart and never say die! We'll find out tonight....Sox and Cubbies would be an outstanding series!
hj
Don't forget to mention how the Pats did yesterday agains the Titans. The didn't exactly humiliate them (like they did to us) but they did beat them up a bit!
Go Sox !
Ok Red Sox fans, do you think the Boston press will get off Manny's back now that he came through in the clutch?
Every time he messes up he looks like a kid with his hand in the cookie jar. He usually comes back and fixes it with his bat. When he does he just smiles and sits down.
My favorite Manny memory from his Tribe days was when he safely stole second base with a head first dive, got up, dusted himself off and trotted back to first base. The Indians 1st base coach asked Manny what he was doing and Manny told him he came back to first because it was a foul ball. .....The batter never swung, he took the pitch. Manny just shrugged and smiled.
Next time up, he blew the game open with a 3 run homer.
That's Manny.

I'm heading up to Boston for the weekend and am going to the game (#3)--I am so excited, haven't been to Fenway in 15 years!! And against the always hated/hateful Yankees!
PS: Have the league championships always been 7 games? This is starting to remind me of hockey!
The possibility of a Cubs/Sox series is kinda frightening--probably a portent of the end of the world! Oh well, fun while it lasted.
Have a great time ! And if I'm correct i believe Pedro is scheduled to be on the mound in game three......... Enjoy!chm2023 said:

How to you get a Yankee fan to laugh on Monday?
A: Tell him a joke on Friday!
CUBS WIN, CUBS WIN, CUBS......OOPS, well, maybe not....
Somewhere, Harry is looking down saying...."Give me another Bud!"
"Coimhéad fearg fhear na foighde"

I believe!
I think they finally found him!
I like this one too!
last one!
The Yanks have to win tomorrow's home game.
Zimmer may not have made the brightest move but he gave one classy apology. Has Martinez even said anything yet???
4 hits for Nomar, Mueller had 2.
Pedro will be
en fuego
Sox all the way !!!
