    Lenny,

I searched our lens database and found no lenses that meet your needs. Since we are a software mfg., we have listings of all lenses available.

It's been a few years since I've been in the lab, but I seem to recall running -20's on the SGX when I was with PLC. Probably .50 base Spectralite. That's going to be some serious edge thickness though.

    Lenny,

Chip wouldn't be alone on this.....I am a proponent on well fit contact lenses as well....don't discount the exceptional vision that seniors like with contact lenses. At least it should be their well informed choice.

Those myodisks are not out of the question. They may not be cheap, but most labs can still handle the Rx you mentioned. You can also grind the rx on a low base plastic blank and end up with a myodisk look for a lot less money.

What diameter would you end up with?
How expensive is this for the lab to do?
