I saw a new line of Lux Versaces and could not not notice that half of the styles are ex Giorgio Armany frames.
I wonder if they would cross reference them with the older GA styles?
the new stuff from Safilo did not exite me at all!!

Hey Lenny, First, you must remember, there are only so many things you can do with a appliance with 2 holes for lenses and 2 temples. True the Versace line is about 30% Armani's retooled but the bulk is true to Versace. Actually, from a few years back, it is now classier but still has the Versace flash. Lux is also retooling some of the "old" styles to be more Rxable. The lines now as the gorgeous flassy pieces, but also has some super men's styles that are tailored and sturdy as concrete. There are also styles to attract the younger clientel that know and love the Versace name but until now, the line didn't fit their life style.
Remember, the only thing that in certain is that change will occur.
I don't know how Versace did in the past in your part of the country, but in mine it was almost invisible. Now, it's is MANY locations, and the demand in growing. Don't be such a nay sayer, give it a try, let your customers speak with their crecit cards.
Lenny, frankly, I don't think the new Versace is remotely loke the old Armani, and it has it's own look...like most stuff, it's not for everyone; I haven't seen the new Armani line at all, likely won't, but the new Versace line is a big improvement of their old line....ML, call me...
Hey, good to hear from you. I've been on the road, as usual. I know that you are closed on Sat., so I'll call you Monday.
