edgemaster 2000

hello fellow LDOS i am in need of some help, i just got an edgemaster 2000 oldie goldie and i am having trouble getting it cycle right, it will star sometimes on the bevel and go to rough to finnish, i think it must be in the cam but i cant figure out how to star the cam in the wright spot. if any one knowes how i sure would be a forever holdin to them for the info, thanks and god bless, rick

Hi Rick:

If I remember correctly, there is a "push button" on the right side of the machine that will advance the cycle one step at a time. Press it while the machine is running until you get it back to the right start position and that should dothe trick. If that doesn't work you may have a mechanical problem with those cams or more likely, a problem with the microswith that contorls it.

Hope the push button tip works. If not maybo someone else on the board knows of someone who still works on these machines.
Unfortunately I don't. But... I do have a spare one sitting in my basement if your interested!

hi rich, thanks, i have been pushing that button forever , with no luck i get all the cycles but the wright one. the switch seems to be working . so iam still at a loss . what do you want for the one in the celler? . thanks rick
