    Question RE: Help with Entoptic Phenomenon

    I need help.

    A Friend came to my practice yesterday worried about his vision.

    He said he is seeing SPIRAL SHAPES in both eyes with a bluish tinge to it.
    See attachment.

    Case History presented as follows:

    28 y/old Male
    Manager of IT dept of an Asset management Co.
    Intelligent Academic.
    Recent relationship trouble led to severe abuse of whiskey and late nights socialising.
    BP: 3 weeks ago 146/95, 1 week ago 130/81.

    Has history of Hypogonadism in adolescent years.

    Tried LSD in 1996

    Spirals first noticed 3-4 weeks ago.
    Bluish tinge
    Both eyes
    Not seen in bright light but noticeable in low illumination.

    Clinical
    No histroy of migraines/headaches etc
    Low astigmatism
    Pupils = Perrla
    Onh= normal
    Macular = normal
    Fovea normal + good reflex OU

    DOES ANYONE HAVE A SUGGESTION OR HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE.
