I just brought them into our service menu. I like to mention it as I am educating patients on the lens options, but especially so if they say they hate Transitions for whatever reason. I have only sold it once but people definitely seem intrigued, especially the older crowd who misses clip on sunglasses. Also the reading clips are very useful for those patients who refuse a multifocal lens and are averse to getting multiple task specific pairs.

They're a really handy up-sale for those patients who can't afford/justify a whole second sun pair, or who want an all-in-one but don't like transitions. Just don't do detachable gemstones, they get lost constantly. Heck, I sell a decent number of Chem Clips on top of transition pairs for car use

The popularity of Chemistrie clips runs in cycles at my shop. I'll sell 3-4 within a month or so, then not even get any interest for weeks/months.

We easily do 10+ weekly. Have several attractive demos made up, show every patient. Will grow exponentially over time.

Pays for a new drilling edger many times over
