Our client, an experiential eyewear brand, is hiring a Licensed Optician go join the store team at their Wayne, NJ location. Candidates must have an active NJ state optician license.

Job Duties Include:

  • Assist customers to select eyewear to fit their needs and style
  • Advise on lens options, coatings, and other enhancement options
  • Ensure glasses fit customers comfortably by performing accurate fittings
  • Interpret prescriptions and consult with customer's eye doctor as needed
  • Supervise the operation of lab to ensure that glasses are produced in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure that machines and equipment are maintained and calibrated
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Work with sales team to meet sales targets
  • Train & manage optician apprentice


Job Qualifications Include:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • NJ state Optician License
  • Open availability to work full time
  • Excellent customer service skills


Salary: $22 - $26/hr + commission and bonus
