From an “old timer”, I did enjoy that and every, especially new to the field should see this. You will run across this. The lesson is:….
1. Check Rx to current/habitual wear before you go anywhere near frame selection. It should be the 1st thing you do. Not often, but enough in my career, you can catch problems before they happen…Opposite prism direction from habitual , axis, + or - transposed wrong. It happens…
2. Always, always, always, ( did I say ALWAYS?) Always check your Rx’s for power, PD, vertical reference point, Prior to dispensing. Verify laser engravings to verify.
These 2 simple steps will eliminate most issues that don’t involve panto/vertex/wrap.
