Can anybody tell me the name of this tool and what it's used for?

I'm a bit perplexed by this tool laying around and haven't been able to ID it. The only thing I can think of is that eye wire for semi-rimless frames is supposed to be involved and threaded through, idk. Also expect a few more follow ups with other tools as some of them even have the 15 year-ers confused.

There are very many different nose pad assembling & adjusting pliers made w/ a variety of different tips to accommodate a plethora of differing nose pad assemblies. For the specificity on this one, you'd have to check w/ the manufacturer or refer to the diverse number of videos available online, such as these: https://www.google.com/search?sca_es...&bih=917&dpr=1
