To all those who stand on guard for Canada-
Happy Canada Day!

The second largest country in the world turns 136 today (Canada gained independence from the U.K. in 1867)!

Now a question regarding Canadian government. Who is Adrienne Clarkson (the "Governor General," but what in the world is that).

Anyway, enjoy the day (hopefully, its a holiday and you're all off work... south of the border, we're lucky enough to have our national holiday fall on FRIDAY this year).

Would it be both redundant and obvious to state we drink beer???? Thanks all! Mine was particularly uneventful. The wife had me painting some older furnature in advance of our move in 2 weeks. Great excuse to drink beer though!!

Please note, I am trying to steer away from Canadian politcial commentary, sorry. My fingers and wrists hurt from my 'sharing'. And as for Vancouver winning the 2010 Olympics? Good onya! Guess I've got to go out to the left coast to visit my birthplace. Was front and centre when Karen Percy won her Bronze in Calgary...
