    VSP Polarized Gradient availability...

Anyone know if I can get a patient a polarized brown gradient poly single vision from their VSP plan? I thought it was out there from Essilor and/or KBCO, but I do not see it in my drop-down options. I did not see it right off in Eyefinity Online. Did I miss it or could it be a decision by my corporate people not to offer it even though it is available?
    Thanks in advance.

It's made by Younger. IDK if that makes a difference or not.

I haven't been able to order any gradient polarized through eyefinity. The work around is have the customer try a solid color and if they don't like it you can redo the job at the lab and they should be able to use any lens options for the redo and they will charge you the difference (if any). However I do not know if this works with a VSP lab. I assume you could ask to remake the lenses using a Younger gradient polarized or an Essilor color gradient but have no idea if they would do that? Worth a shot though...

Not sure if this is helpful, or not.
With my lab, we bill through eyefinity as though it is a regular polarized lens, and simply put "KB CO. gradient polar (fill in the blank (color))" in the "special instructions" box.
The key thing to remember is; It's only available in poly.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll just have to lose the sale and hope I can save the second order..

the way it was done before is you bill for tint and polarization and then write "younger image gradient polar (insert color)" only comes in poly last time I checked.

100% correct. I would bill for standard polarized, add tint, select "Non-IDC Lab" and order Essilor Colors Sienna Brown Polarized Gradient directly from the lab.
