Cary Family Eye Care, established in 2008, desires to add a new member to our optical team. We are a local optometry office that offers a friendly, family environment for your workday. Our private practice continues to grow year after year by focusing on customer service and patient care. We offer a variety of eye care services including eye examinations, contact lens fittings, myopia control, medical eye care, dry eye treatment and a large optical dispensary. Our eye care team currently consists of the Practice Administrator Cassandra, Dr. Kelly Barnes, Dr. Dwight Barnes, Dr. Amorette Hanna and 14 team members. We serve patients of all ages.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE but NOT LIMITED TO:
Patient First, Kindness, Innovation, Accountability & Teamwork
Order entry processing and vision insurance claims submission
Daily job tracking to ensure quality and accuracy
Repairs/Adjustments to glasses
Sales / Checking out patients / Scheduling appointments
Optical knowledge to include understanding RX, lens materials and frame selecting.
Assist other areas when needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong customer service skills
Enthusiastic, efficient, and resourceful
Friendly and fashionable
Excellent communication and people skills
Proficient in the use of computers
Self-motivated, organized and attentive to detail
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
