    A beary nice visit to Yellowstone...

    A couple toothy floofs from a quick visit to Yellowstone a couple weeks back.

    I used my 600mm tele for these, and both are heavy crops even so. From Mr Grizz, I was a good 200 yards at least, and from Mr Black, I'd say 80-100 (he was walking along the roadway in Lamar Valley with little shoulder, and of course it was a bear-induced parking lot, so moving further back was all but impossible). It seems that no matter how respectful one tries to be around the wildlife in places like Yellowstone / Teton, there are always a few idiots getting waaaay too close, and/or harassing the animals. Thankfully, in both of these encounters, the bears remained well clear of the humans, and vice-versa.
