I am looking for some feedback on the Shamir Blue Zero. I am also questioning is it a blue light blocking material or an AR.

Blue Zero is an in-mass blue light absorbing material, built into lens blank. It can be combined with a blue light reflecting AR to maximize blue light control.
Thank you, that clears it up for me, Pun intended.
My office uses Shmair Blue Zero with trivex quite a bit and some interesting tidbits to share:
1) on the Trivex there is more of a blue/grey hue to the lens. Not as cosmetically deterrent as the yellow/amber hue of other blue light filtering but it can be noticeable to some patients.
2) that hue visually is more apparent on semi-rimless and drill mount frames.
3) from our office experience, the Crizal Rock or Shamir Glacier Plus cosmetically match better than the Glacier Expressions or the Crizal Sapphire (the latter two seem to emphasize the blue hue more on trivex)
