How often should a CNC machine be serviced?
I would contact the mfg. and its about hours of service and a component of time
In general, every 2000 to 3000 hours of use, a CNC machine should be repaired. Service is an important part of keeping a CNC machine in good shape. It is important to make sure that all repairs and checks are done regularly. Here are some of the most important things to think about when taking care of a CNC machine:
• Look at the machine and all of its parts, such as the spindle, the cooling system, and the tools. Look for signs of damage or wear and tear.
• Check all safety equipment to make sure it is in good shape.
• Look at the CNC controls and wiring, clean them, and check all the cables and connections for signs of damage or coming loose.
• Check to see if the cutting tool is worn, broken, or not tight enough. If you need to, you can adjust, sharpen, or replace the tool.
• Check the system for lubrication and make sure all of the fluids are in good shape.
• Make sure that all of the controls and settings are set up properly.
• Run the machine as a test and watch how it works to make sure it's working right.
• Clean the machine to get rid of any dirt or dust that could get in the way of how it works.
• Write down any maintenance or repair work you do on the machine so that it can be tracked and recorded correctly.
