Well-established Ophthalmology practice in Glenwood Springs and Eagle, Colorado seeks a medical Optometrist to join the practice. Work Monday-Friday.

Glenwood Springs is a great location to raise a family and within a 1/2 hour of Aspen, which boasts one of the best ski resorts in the country. On the other side of the Canyon is Eagle, another wonderful place to live. Eagle County is home to Vail Mountain, another fabulous ski area. Both towns are 35 minutes apart. We offer the best hiking, biking, and skiing in the world. Summers are fabulous!

Call is every other weekend and fairly mild.
Highlights of the position:
• Well-established MD/OD practice
• OCT, Humphrey Topographer, Visual Field
• Tech does pre-test and history
• EHR – Modernizing Medicine
• Mon-Fri only!
• 2 days/week with the MD, 3 days/week solo
• Salary $130-150K DOE + yearly bonus year 1, quarterly bonuses year 2

• W-2 employee
Responsibilities of the OD:
• Ocular disease co-mgt, emergency care, post-ops, contact lens, general exams, follow-ups, pressure checks
• Medical practice experience preferred
• Travel between two locations weekly (Eagle & Glenwood Springs)
• See 20-30 patients a day
• Call every other weekend (usually just 1 call per month)

Requirements of the OD:
• Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.)
• CO license
• Ability to work well with a team or solo
