    1.6 index plastic used by Zeiss?

    At first I thought MR-8, becuase it matches the density and abbe value.
    But there are 2 things that don't fit:
    1. MR-8 blocks 100% of UV light vs 97% on the table
    2. MR-8 has higher tensile strenght than MR-7, but Zeiss is using more center thickness for the 1.6 material (1.3 vs 1.2mm).

    Easy way to check: Next time you cut a 1.6 Zeiss lens, could you please check the smell?
