Repairing Split Sides of Eyewire on S/Steel Frame Front (help appreciated)

Hi everyone,

I have a customer who's Lightec Stainless Steel frame has "split" on the sides of the eyewire (picture attached)

I have seen this happen a few times on these types of design, but usually they have been under warranty periods.

This frame however is a few years out of warrant and the customer is happy to pay as long as not too expensive.

I was going to send to our go to frame repair specialist company that can laser weld joints,
but was just curious is there any other "hacks" or "tips" that can be used in this situation?

Just throwing the net out to see any other good alternatives that work.

I've never tried to repair one.

I think these designs are because frames are made as much as possible using robotics these days.

Can anyone confirm that?

I would try clamps and lots of heat. If that doesn't start moving somewhat then I think you might have to do what fester said and get a new frame.

Thanks for your replies. I think there was one internationally on ebay but would end up costing too much to get in.
I've sent it to the repair company (as they have assessed photos) and are confident they can do a satisfactory job by laser welding it.
