    Airlock/Kawasaki frame assembly question

We don't do many Airlock/Kawasaki frames here but we currently have one in the lab. What's the easiest way to get the frame back into the bushing? We've got one temple that just needs to be pushed in a little more but it's being stubborn. The bushing easily fits into the lens from behind so it shouldn't be a "hole too small" issue. Is there some sort of compression plier that's good for these?

    Thank you.

When buying frames this is something I always look at to make sure we aren't buying a pain in the ***. And if it is still something we must have I will ask the manufacturer for either documentation or a video of how to work with it. So that's where I would start. But in theory I would think the compression pliers would work, similar mechanism right? Do you have a model number of the frame?

The few Kawasaki frames I've assembled I have just pushed in by hand, rather easily too. I will say I hate the frame design. The only hold up I can think of is if the loops on the side need to be adjusted to make space for the lens.

This might be a possible solution. Perhaps modify tip to secure on frame/temple piece

Figured it out - let it sit for Saturday and Sunday and just pushed it in harder on Monday. We don't carry these but I have a hard time saying no to challenges.
