I use an old school Mr. Blue. I like it's interface way more than Santinelli. My model is older so its step-beveling capabilities are limited. One in particular feature that I like is its ability to totally make the lens bevel match the eyewire bevel.

Had a Santinelli (1990's), anytime it broke was 2K to fix. Upgraded to the Optronics 6E, LOVED it! Went to work at a new practice using the same old Santinelli. Upgraded to Mr. Blue.
Mr. Blue is great for a lot of things (pre-programmed drill mounts, etc.). But, I miss Optronics.
It was "Plug & play". Santinelli and Essilor are "tech only repair", meaning thousands of dollars for every repair needed.
Optronics would simply send the part with instructions. When Mr. Blue goes down, it's "days" till you get a reply, "weeks" before you get a service date, and thousands by the time you get the "fix".
    Santinelli runs the same way...

As much as I love my Santinelli, hands down my fav has been the Optronics 6E and 7E. So much easier to work on if something happened to a part. And their support was fantastic. Little more TLC, but worth it.
