    Edger being installed this week!!

Happy Tuesday everyone! We are diving into in office finishing. Any recommendations on places to get lenses would be appreciated! Doc said some fellow OD's recommended an independent that really touted a Horizon lens and some Nikon for picky presbyopes. We are looking for affordable options for our patients who we will soon not be accepting their vision plans

What number of jobs per day do you anticipate?

Will you be stocking sv lenses?

I'd offer that less than 5 jobs a day warrants a second look.

I would suggest Superoptical.com. Good selection and prices. Used to work for them, retired three months ago. Call Hugh 800-543-7376 and mention my name

I think I would have known that before I purchased an edger, so I'd be able to do an accurate cost analyst, I would start with the lab that you are getting your finished jobs from.

Santinelli LE1200 with the smart blocker. Had great luck years ago with them at an old practice so fingers crossed!

we will be stocking sv lenses and our slow days would be about 10 to 12 jobs a day.

Doc ran all kinds of numbers and cost analysis. I know with just single vision alone it will have a huge impact. I should have specified about progressive options but any insight is useful.
