We have an old Nidek 3D-fit LE-9000SX that recently started acting up. Whenever we power it on in the back, it makes a noise like the switch engaged, however, nothing boots up. It's also kind of interesting that it doesn't "immediately" power down when you turn it off or even unplug it; It takes about 10 seconds. As much as I want to bring in a technician... I don't. Any help is appreciated!
Have you checked the fuse in the back?

Sorry for missing this until now... it's very likely one of two things- First (and easiest) is if you recently had the cover open, it's possible you bumped the software upgrade switch. It's toward the front, across the top of the main board on the left side- it should be set to OFF.
Second thing it could be would be the power supply- the inverter (box that powers) the main wheels motor gets 120V straight from the wall while everything else goes through the power supply to reduce to 24V. You probably hear the fan kick on in the inverter but nothing else happens, and then it takes 15-20 seconds for the capacitors in the inverter to discharge after you power off.
