MEI BiSphera Sizing Issue

Hello, I work for a lens manufacturing company an we are struggling to get accurate cuts from our MEI BiSphera + TBA machine. We are seeing a size discrepancy between the left and right lenses, one being to big and the other too small. We have tried re-aligning the heads, tracing pins, manipulator and have run multiple cut calibrations via the DCU with passing results. Also worth noting that we recently has MEI out to perform the annual PM. If anybody has experience with this machine and has pointers on where to go next, it would be greatly appreciated!

First step is the sizing consistent. Meaning every time is it over and under by the same amount. Is this a problem on every edge type. Are you tracing both eyes or just one. Is the tracing coming from a data base or from a tracer. How are you measuring the result.

Hello OtpiRob,

Have you tried to run the manual calibration and not use the DCU? I suggest you run the S20 manual calibration for each head and check size.

Polished lenses or no polish? All materials or just one? V bevel only or Grooved lenses as well?
