Looking for an old Luxottica calendar

Does anyone remember the calendars Luxottica put out back in the 80’s (and maybe also before and after)? They were drawn/painted women with interesting/crazy frame designs and backgrounds.

There was a specific year where the subject matter was animals instead of women. I remember specifically one month was a zebra with a Mohawk and sunglasses and another month was an ostrich with a pearl necklace and a cat eye frame.

I’ve googled “vintage Luxottica calendars with animals” and other search terms, and only found the ‘regular’ ones with the women. (Regardless, you should check them out because they’re pretty cool!). I’ve also searched on EBay.

I’m pretty sure they’re from the mid to late 80’s. I’d love to get my hands on one, or even just pictures.

Help me Optiboard, you’re my only hope!

I sure remember them, they were very cool, definitely 80's. Sorry I haven't seen one in years.

I have two of those calendars at home of the women safely tucked away in their original packaging. Do not recall just what years.....early maybe mid 80's.
I take them out every now and then to reminisce or to show the young pups coming up in the business. Matter of fact showed them to one of our Dr's and he got all excited because it was the year he was born.
But I had completely forgot about the animals calendars.

oops.....my wife says I have three of them.

    I remember them!

I have saved a Marchon cardboard 3D pop up of the old, short lived, Flexon campaign when Flexon was rolling. It has a passenger jet projected by a spring in front of a picture of a mock World Trade Center Tower with NYC in the background. The building is pictured bending as the jet passes in front.

The tag to the campaign was "If only all metal were Flexon".

The campaign was pulled right after introduction in August of 2001.
