We have more than a few patients who have a higher lens power prescription but MUST, MUST, MUST have the wrapped-looking sporty frames so they can bow hunt or ride motorcycles or dig a hole with a backhoe or whatever.
We are "direct glazed" challenged, many times with these lens powers and need to get cute, a la adapters (yuck) or maybe this Hilco idea, where they give 6-base "cups" that protrude from the front of the wrapped frame like bug eyes so you can put higher minus in it or even higher plus, I guess, because it's not as YUGE, all obviously at the mere expense of peripheral vision.
Any experience with these?
