    Halos in new PAL

RGP patient with the onset of cataract is complaining of Halos in the distance portion of their new poly progressives. Not only do they see the halos on lights when driving at night (which she sees with her RGP's as well) but with the glasses the patient will see the halos around letters in the room and objects. Is there a better lens or material choice for this patient? She is currently in a basic Tier 2 not the worst but not the best poly progressive lens. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Simple answer? No. Not until the cataract(s) are removed. This is not a lens material issue.
I bend light. That is what I do.
