About Our Practice
Classic Optical is a professional, locally-owned optometric office located in the heart of Ithaca. We take pride in the meaningful and long term relationships we’ve built with our community and are passionate about providing high-quality care to our family of patients. It is our goal to provide an incredible experience that exceeds all our patient’s expectations, and we're looking for a new team member to help us grow to new heights.
Our Optician owner has been in the field for 35 years and owned this practice since 2003. Our office manager has been at this practice since 2000 and in the field since 1992. This is a very well run, very profitable, very friendly private practice seeking to continue the tradition of eyecare that you'd expect to receive from a good family friend.
Our staff has decades of experience to ensure reliable eyeglass fits and they provide excellent optical problem solving prior to bothering the OD with needless recheck appointments or redo's. We believe in using high end name brand lenses and frames to ensure the beast possible experience for our customers.
We take minimal EC plans (Eyemed and VSP only) choosing instead to focus on excellent private pay service to our clients. Our core clientele is centered around the collegiate experience. Students, professors, staff, and local professionals within the Ithaca community. Our practice sees a very minimal amount of pediatric or geriatric clientele.
